A Review Point Should Be Allowed to Change the Plan
A useful lesson about follow-through: a review point is not just a chance to measure progress; it is a chance to decide whether the commitment still deserves your attention. Otherwise, “stay consistent” can quietly become “keep going, even when the goal has changed.”
For one open project, set a short review date. Ask: What moved forward? What got in the way? Does this still matter enough to continue? Then choose one next step—or deliberately pause or close it.
That changes the purpose of structure: it protects a choice without trapping you in it. Pick one commitment to review this week, and make room for “stop” to be a valid result.
