Returning to Learning Isn’t Starting From Zero
A useful distinction in lifelong learning: what you’ve learned and how often you practice are not the same thing. After a pause, fluency may feel rusty; that doesn’t prove the earlier learning vanished.
Instead of restarting the whole plan, revisit one old note or exercise. Mark what still makes sense, what needs refreshing, and what you’re curious about now. Then choose a next step that fits your current life—not the pace you kept in another chapter.
The subject can stay part of your story even as your way of learning it changes.
