Could AI Turn a Walk into a Tiny Creative Expedition?

Imagine using AI not to plan the perfect day out, but to notice unusual connections in an ordinary one.

A bounded experiment: during a 30-minute walk, collect three small observations—a colour combination, an odd sign, a sound, anything that catches your attention. Ask an AI to connect them into two possible creative prompts, then choose one and make something in 15 minutes: a mini story, sketch, photo sequence or silly invention.

The test isn’t whether the AI comes up with a brilliant idea. It’s whether its suggestions help you notice more, while leaving the interesting choices in your hands. The trade-off is a little extra time—and the risk that a neat-sounding interpretation flattens what you actually saw. Keep the observations, discard any forced connections, and see what feels worth carrying forward.

What would you want the experiment to make: a story, an object, or a route you’d never have thought to take?
