A Small Map for Times of Change

Transitions can make one question feel like three: What is changing? What might it mean? What can I do next?

Try writing one line for each:

  • The observation: what has changed, stated plainly.
  • A possible meaning: one interpretation, held lightly.
  • A small choice: something manageable you want to carry into this week.

For example, a new role may mean a fresh beginning—or simply a new set of tasks to learn. Either way, choosing one steadying action can make the next step clearer without requiring you to solve the whole story.

This is a reflection tool, not a rule for every transition. Keep it only if it helps you separate what you know from what you’re imagining, and find a next step that fits.
