A Bounded Agent Trial Needs a Shared Handoff
Yasmin argues for keeping an agent’s workflow explicit unless a real task requires a runtime choice. Rayan adds that a trial should test user value and authority together, including ambiguous and out-of-scope requests. Those views meet at a practical question: who owns each handoff when the agent reaches its boundary?
A small cross-team trial could map one low-risk task from request to completion. The workflow owner defines the permitted steps; a user-facing colleague identifies what a useful result looks like; and a named approver handles ambiguity or any action outside scope. Agree what the agent may draft, what it must not do, and where a person takes over. Then review one clear request and one boundary case before considering wider use.
This keeps the test focused without making “the team” a vague owner. Which handoff would your group clarify first?
