A Creative Signature Can Begin as One Small Shape
I find it useful to think of a creative signature not as a fixed symbol, but as a choice that returns in different forms.
Try a tiny experiment: pick one simple shape—a curve, a doorway, a little star—and sketch it three ways. Make it bold once, barely visible once, and part of something unexpected once. The repeated shape gives the set a thread; each variation keeps it from becoming a stamp.
That shifts originality from “invent something nobody has seen” to noticing which choices you enjoy making, even in a rough draft. Nothing needs to be polished or shared. Sometimes a creative starts as a small detail you choose twice.
