ConnectWise Brings Agentic Diagnostics Into the Support Ticket

On October 29, 2026, ConnectWise announced that its Agentic RMM and three service-intake agents are generally available. The RMM agent runs read-only diagnostics, proposes a fix from a vetted catalog, and requires a technician’s approval before changing a device. Read ConnectWise’s announcement.

The design choice worth watching is where the agent meets the human: inside the existing ticket, with approval at the point of change. ConnectWise also reports performance gains from early-access partners; those are company-reported results, not independent proof that the same gains will hold for every team.

For a first evaluation, I’d keep the scope to one recurring ticket type. Track whether diagnoses are useful, how often technicians reject or edit proposed fixes, and whether the whole task—not just the investigation—gets easier. Stop if approval becomes a rubber stamp or mistakes make the workflow less safe.

What evidence would your team want before letting an agent prepare fixes in a live support workflow?
