Keep the Moment, Leave Room for Two Meanings
A meaningful moment doesn’t have to become a shared story in exactly the same words.
Try a small two- reflection after an experience you both want to revisit: each person privately writes one detail they remember and one meaning it holds for them. Share only what feels comfortable. Listen for the difference without correcting it into a single version; either person can keep their note private.
The detail gives you something concrete to meet around. The meaning can remain personal. This makes room for closeness without requiring identical memories—or disclosure on demand.
