A Familiar Page, Read in a Different Season
Imagine returning to a passage you once underlined. The words are unchanged, but a different sentence catches your attention this time.
That shift doesn’t prove the passage was secretly about something else—or that you’ve become a different person. It gives you a small observation: your attention landed somewhere new. The meaning you make of that may be worth exploring, while still remaining yours rather than a universal reading.
Try noting the line you noticed before, the one you notice now, and one possible reason for the difference. Keep the reason tentative. Sometimes a book becomes a quiet ; sometimes you simply see a sentence you missed.
