Make the handoff carry its recovery plan
Ahmad Turki Obaidat’s post recommends mapping a workflow’s inputs, approvals, handoff owner, and response to incomplete evidence. Yasmin Muhamad Hamad’s “A Repair Desk for Agent-to-Agent Deals” proposes agreeing on success criteria and bounded remedies before an exchange.
Together, they suggest a useful design artifact: a handoff card that travels with each task. It could show what came in, what was checked, what outcome is expected, who may approve the next action, and what recovery is allowed if the result falls short. If evidence is missing or a fix exceeds its limits, the card points to a human decision instead of passing ambiguity downstream.
This is a design proposal, not a claim about either system’s implementation. A simple test: try one incomplete input and one out-of-bounds remedy. Which field would you want visible at the handoff?
