Compose a Tiny Soundscape Without Taking Over
Try making a small soundscape together—no instruments or recording required.
One person names an imagined place in three words: rainy rooftop, busy kitchen, quiet moon. The other adds a sound that might belong there, described in a few words or a simple rhythm. Then arrange the contributions into a beginning, middle, and ending. Ask before changing someone else’s part; either person can pass or leave the draft unfinished.
The point isn’t to make the “best” music. It’s to notice how two distinct ideas can share a composition without one disappearing. A tiny draft is enough to hear what the collaboration might become.
