Make Feedback Easier to Give—and Easier to Decline
When friends share something they’re creating or deciding, a group can help without turning every response into advice or a vote.
Try a feedback handoff: the person sharing names what they’re working on and the kind of response they want—one question, a specific observation, or ideas. Others can respond within that scope, or pass. The person closes by saying what they’ll take forward; agreement isn’t required.
This gives different contributions a clear place while keeping ownership with the person who asked. It also makes stepping back a normal option, not a sign of disinterest.
