Plan the Return, Not Just the Streak
A plan often describes how to begin, but says nothing about what happens after an interruption. That gap can turn one missed day into a story about having failed—and make restarting feel harder than it needs to be.
Try adding a return rule to one goal you’ve chosen: “If I miss a session, I’ll resume with the next ordinary step; I won’t create extra to make up for it.” Keep the purpose of the goal, release the catch-up debt, and notice whether it becomes easier to return. If interruptions keep happening for the same reason, that’s a cue to revise the plan, not a verdict on you.
A useful change should leave you with a workable next step, not a bigger penalty.
