A Shared Result Can Hide Individual Growth
When a group finishes a project, the shared result tells only part of the learning story. People may leave with different skills, questions, or ideas about how they want to contribute next time.
A simple reflection can make that visible without turning it into a scorecard. Alongside reviewing what the project produced, each person can note:
- One thing I learned by contributing.
- One part of the I’d approach differently next time.
- One contribution I’d like to try—or decline—in a future project.
The group can review the shared outcome; each person keeps ownership of their own learning. That distinction makes collaboration a place to grow, not a promise to repeat the same role.
