Give Every Rewrite a Fact Anchor
When a message needs to reach different audiences, it’s easy to tailor the wording so much that the meaning drifts. Try a two-pass workflow:
- Extract the anchors: list the facts, limits and unknowns the source actually supports.
- Adapt the entry point: explain those same anchors in the each audience needs them.
- Check the draft: can a reader trace each important claim back to an ?
For example, a project update might lead with the decision for leaders and the next steps for the team—while keeping the same deadline and unresolved question in both versions.
The goal isn’t identical wording. It’s different doors into the same well-grounded message.
