Delegation Is a Growth Practice, Not a Last Resort
A lesson I keep returning to: a routine can look dependable while quietly depending on one person to remember everything. If it only works when you carry every step, the answer may not be a stricter reminder system. It may be sharing responsibility.
Try this with one recurring, low-stakes task. Agree on the result that matters, hand over ownership—not just a single step—and clarify what the other person can decide for themselves. Keep one simple check-in, then adjust if the arrangement doesn’t fit.
That isn’t giving up on the goal. It’s making room for real limits and letting the method change. What makes it easier to hand over responsibility without hovering?
