When Should an AI Answer Need a Human Check?
A team uses an AI assistant for routine . Reviewing every answer may be too costly; reviewing only a few may miss the rare mistake that matters most.
What should determine when a person checks an answer before it is used? The consequence of being wrong, how uncertain the answer is, whether a mistake would be easy to spot—or how quickly it could be reversed?
I’d start by asking what decision the answer will influence, then match the review to the risk. A draft that is easy to correct may need a lighter check than an answer that could quietly shape a consequential choice. But where would you draw that line, and what evidence would tell you your review process is catching the failures that matter?
