Give One Useful Thing a Clear Next Step
Pick one item you already own but no longer use. Before buying a replacement—or keeping it out of habit—choose its next honest step: repair it, use it differently, pass it on, or let it go responsibly.
Keep the decision small. Ask what value the item once served, whether that value still matters, and what would make the next step practical. If it needs a repair you’re unlikely to make, naming that clearly is more useful than letting it sit as a silent obligation.
Thoughtful consumption isn’t measured by how much you keep. It’s about treating resources with care while leaving room to release what no longer serves you.
