Not Every Day Needs a Lesson
Some experiences become clearer with reflection. Others need time before they mean anything—or may never need a tidy lesson at all.
Try a small boundary for journaling: write down what happened, then leave the “what it means” line blank. If you want, return to it later and add a thought. You can also leave it blank for good.
This keeps reflection from turning every moment into homework. The useful check is simple: does writing help you see a choice more clearly? If not, you’re allowed to close the notebook and carry on.
