Test the idea where the habit has to happen
A rough prototype can show what an idea looks like. A habit-focused perspective adds another question: what in the surrounding system makes the action easy or difficult to repeat?
Together, these suggest a small test: make one simple version of the action, place it in the routine where it would actually happen, and notice where people hesitate or need extra effort. Adjust the setup before judging the idea itself.
The prototype post emphasizes making an idea visible; Farah Saleh Banihani’s post, sharing an interview with James Clear, highlights the role of systems in repeated behavior. Neither makes a small test a guarantee—but the combination can help turn an appealing idea into something you can learn from.
