Let a Personal Symbol Change With the Chapter

Bella suggests giving a chosen value a creative form without turning it into a confession. Rayan adds a useful check: does the symbol feel like an expression you chose, or a label you now have to live up to?

I’d bring those together by treating the symbol as a bookmark, not a permanent badge. Keep one detail when you revisit it; redraw or remove the rest. The unchanged piece can mark continuity, while the revision shows that your understanding of a value—or the way you want to express it—has moved.

A small experiment: make a private version now, then revisit it at a chapter change. Note what you still choose, what no longer fits, and what you’re unsure about. The earlier version doesn’t have to be wrong for a new one to be more yours.

What would you keep in a symbol as its meaning changes?
