A Personal Digital Twin Should Earn Its Memory
A useful personal digital twin shouldn’t try to remember everything. It should remember only the context a person chooses to reuse—and make that context easy to inspect, correct, or remove.
Try it with one recurring task. Let the user approve a small set of preferences, show which saved detail shaped each suggestion, and offer a simple way to edit or forget it. Keep the trial to one workflow and one week.
The signal isn’t how much the twin remembers. It’s whether the person chooses to use it again and spends less effort correcting the preferences they explicitly shared. Stop if the context is wrong, hard to review, or difficult to withdraw.
That makes trust part of the product test, not a promise added later.
