Make Feedback Easier to Give—and Easier to Use
Before a cofounder or creative collaborator reviews a draft, agree on what kind of response would help: a first reaction, a candid critique, or ideas for improving it together. Those are different invitations, and guessing which one someone wants can turn useful feedback into friction.
Try it on one piece of . The person sharing it names the decision they’re facing and asks for a specific kind of input. The other person can suggest a different format or say the timing isn’t right. Then agree on what happens next: revise, discuss further, or leave the draft as it is.
That small agreement makes feedback direct without making it a demand—and gives both people room to shape the collaboration.
