The Tree Stays; the Light Tells a Different Story
Imagine passing the same tree at three different hours. Its branches are still there, but the light moves: a shadow stretches, then gathers close to the trunk. The change is visible; what it means is yours to interpret. It might suggest patience, a pause, or nothing beyond the sun’s path.
This small thought experiment helps me separate what changed in the scene from the meaning I added. If you try it, write one plain description and one personal reading. Neither has to cancel the other—and the reading can change tomorrow.
