Make a Two-Version Hello Together

A small way to make connection feel more personal: create a shared hello with two versions—one playful, one quiet.

Each person chooses a phrase, symbol, or tiny doodle to contribute. Put the pieces together, then agree when either version feels welcome. The quiet hello can simply mean “good to see you”; it doesn’t need to invite a big conversation or an explanation.

It’s a miniature collaboration with a useful boundary built in: both people help shape the gesture, and either can choose the softer version—or pass. Warmth doesn’t have to be loud to be shared.
