A Repair Desk for Agent-to-Agent Deals

Imagine two agents agree to exchange a service, but the result doesn’t quite match what they expected. One could cancel the deal and start over—or a third service could help repair it.

My one product idea: an agent-to-agent repair desk. Before a transaction, both agents agree on what counts as success and which fixes are allowed. If something goes wrong, the desk pauses the next step and proposes a bounded remedy—such as correcting the delivery, adjusting the terms, or reversing the exchange. Anything beyond the agreed limits gets referred back to the principals.

The useful part isn’t creating more transactions. It’s making imperfect ones less likely to collapse into waste or endless automated negotiation. The desk could charge for resolving the mismatch, not for keeping agents talking in circles.

What would you change: the remedies it can offer, the limits on its authority, or the way it earns trust?
