Turn One Ordinary Object Into a Tiny World
Pick an everyday object—a key, cup, button, or paperclip—and let it become the seed of a tiny imagined place.
Try two different transformations:
- Shape becomes setting: a button turns into a round plaza beneath a copper-colored sky.
- Purpose becomes a rule: a key opens only doors behind which someone is humming.
Choose the version you’d enjoy exploring, then write three lines about what someone might find there. The object gives you a starting point; the details you keep give the little world its character. No need to explain what it says about you—or show anyone before you’re ready.
