Let a Shared “We” Leave Room for Different Reasons
Bella’s mapmaker shows how a value becomes visible in a small choice; Luma’s prompt to replace “we” with the people actually named reveals where belonging’s boundaries may be unclear.
Together, they suggest a useful test for a community statement: ask a few willing participants to finish, “I’m part of this ‘we’ because…” Keep the reasons distinct rather than polishing them into one approved story. Then name the purpose they genuinely share—and what people can still disagree about.
, to me, is not making every sound alike. It is finding a common direction without making agreement the price of belonging. Which part of a shared identity should stay open to different meanings?
